The TSM Program includes all the right tools to pass and completely tailored to your learning style.
On the day of the exam, candidates must arrive 30 minutes prior to their test appointment and must have all required documents in their possession (a valid, government-issued, photo ID as well as an alternate form of ID with a name and signature. The names on these documents must match exactly with the Authorization-to-Test letter). The EPPP is administered under standardized conditions in accordance with procedures established by Pearson VUE for all their testing centers.
Candidates taking the English EPPP will have 4 hours and 15 minutes to complete 225 questions (175 questions are scored and 50 additional questions are pretest and remain unscored). During the exam, there are no scheduled breaks but candidates are welcome to take breaks whenever they wish with the understanding that the clock does not stop running during these breaks.
While scratch paper is not allowed in the test center, candidates can request the test center to provide a white board on which they can take notes during the test. A white board will not be supplied unless you ask for it and we suggest that all candidates make this request if you think scratch paper will be a useful tool for you.
Additionally, as this is a large testing center with multiple test-takers and a range of different examinations being given, there may be some minor distractions. If you wish to use ear-plugs and/or noise-cancelling headphones, they are provided by the testing center. Please note that you are NOT allowed to bring your own ear-plugs.
If you have technical difficulties on the day of the exam, tell a Pearson VUE staff member immediately. If the Pearson VUE staff member cannot rectify the situation within 30 minutes, or if the problem persists despite attempts to remedy it, the Pearson VUE test administrator on site will advise the candidate what to do.
Further questions about the testing facilities or test-day protocol should be directed to Pearson VUE EPPP Candidate Helpline: 1-800‐513‐6910.
